Number Two in my Stephen King flight. This one was obvious, in reference to The Shining. This is one of the ones chosen for the night, but I might modify it a bit before full release.

Redrum

• 2 parts white rum
• 4 parts pomegranate
• 2 parts champagne
• 6 parts lemonade
• Mix.

Tasting Notes

BN: For the record, those ratios are a bit approximate. Add a big “to taste” to everything. I didn’t really love this drink to be honest. It wasn’t red enough, and I thought the pomegranate overpowered most of the other flavors. I might try it with a cranberry or even cherry juice? Also, could adjust the champagne/lemonade mix with sparkling lemonade and that would keep the alcohol content down. In that case, you should increase the rum to three parts.
