The less annoying follow up to 8. Scotch Whiskey Punch. Since it’s pretty much the same thing, I’m forgoing the news element – nothing super new since yesterday.
9. Whiskey Punch
(Use small bar glass.)
- 2 oz. whiskey (Irish or Scotch).
- 4 oz. boiling water.
- Sugar to taste [I used a tablespoon and it was a little sweet. Maybe start with a half?]
- Dissolve the sugar well with 2 oz. of the water, then pour in the whiskey, and add the balance of the water, sweeten to taste, and put in a small piece of lemon rind, or a thing slice of lemon.
Tasting Notes:
BN: Still pretty good! A little sweet, and this version could have used a little more lemon, but overall a simple classic for one of those fall or winter nights.
PiC: Yum!
